Regulations on defining the service coverage of the public health system under preparation

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is preparing regulations defining the scope of publicly funded health services. These regulations would establish the principles determining which services and treatments are included in or excluded from publicly financed health services. The service coverage would apply to both public health and private health services eligible for Kela reimbursement. Defining these principles is part of the government program and the National Service Reform.
